Oh man! I have absolutely fallen in love with sugar gliders. I have been doing a ton of research and plan on purchasing a pair in about 3-6 months or so. Anyone here have any? They are so great!

I thought about them but while doing research I decided I didn't have enough room to properly keep them. They can't be in a small cage and I really wouldn't feel right keeping them in anything less then 6 ft high and 6 ft wide unless you planned on letting them have run of the house for exercise and only put them up to sleep.

I'd also want to figure out some way to bring them outside for real gliding exercise without losing them.

They look like a blast though.

height is more important than width for the gliders. But yes, they need to be out of the cage for several hours per day to stay happy. I also know several people that carry them around wherever they go be it the supermarket, lowes, walmart, the mall, etc. They will be happy sitting in your pocket or perched on your shoulder. They are extremely intelligent and trainable so you wont have to worry about them running away on you. And you really need to have a pair or more. Keeping just one is not a good idea.

tyou could make them a harness and atack a line for them to glide.

wow, they;re so cute!

a coworker of mine has one.......she brings it everywhere! Whenever she carries it around its attached to some flight suit or something made for birds.

I would love a pair of them! But I can ensure my mother would shoot me! I already tried for Sugar gliders.. But right now it's not able to done with cats, a rabbit and fish plus more fish to come soon!
