I recently purchased a black ghost knife (about 2 inches long). I was wondering with other large fish in the tank grabbing every morsel of food mostly before it hits the ground and after. What is the best way to feed the ghost knife. Also should I worry about him jumping out? He hides all the time so I rarely see him, should he come on when I feed him?
Just curious about this interesting fish

I have a 6" bgk. At first he was shy and wouldn't come out much. And they are nocturnal so he came out mostly when the tank was dark to feed and hunt. They are natural predators.....he will come out more often as he grows and becomes use to your tank. They are great smellers {since they can not see} and as soon as you place food in the tank he'll be there. They love Zuchinni slices also. As most fish do. I keep a side of my tank dimmer than the other so he's out more often. Actually most fish will jump..it is a good idea to cover all openings as much as possible. Good luck.
