SO here are some pics -- There is some white stuff coming or growing out of him since i started the medicine -- should I try anti-fungus stuff? or is the maracyn-two enough for now?

ok -- update -- sept 7th --


woke up -- massive water change -- added maracyn-two -- added pimafex last night and this morning after the water change -- the cotton like fugus seems to be falling off and i vacuumed up pieces of it when I did the water change


he seems to be awimming around more active .... still looks like a pine cone but does seem to have boating gone done a tad ...

so ... that's it for now

here is an update.....

so he's been querentined since last thursday -- I think thats 6 days....

SEEMS like the white fungus on him has lessened but he still has some.

I am out of marycyn two--- Going to pick more up ... maybe try something else if any of you suggest it....


basically hes the same... swims around... still all bloated and scales sticking out -- pop eye.....

been doing a 100% water change daily -- and using marycyn-two -- along with pimafix and epsom salt ..... hes not improving but not any worse ... so thats it .. i am open for suggestions

well he died this morning after a fight for about 12 days.... Tried everything I could....

Sorry about the loss.... the next time you treat with Maracyn 2, do a simultaneous treatment with Maracyn as well. Between the two antibiotics, you'll have better gram positive and gram negative bacterial coverage. Regardless, sounds like you did everything you could for him; bravo for your efforts.
