Black Spots on Koi

Yes, I know it's an ugly fish...

It was given to me as a gift, and I have had it in my pond for a year now, and I noticed some black spots on it. I dont know if this is a disease, parasite, mold, or just black patterns developing on it. I rubbed on the black spots to see if it was something like mold, but it seemed to be just part of the koi fish on the scales. Any idea what it could be?

Keep an eye, may just be natural pigment, but also could be an external parasite called black spot

Most likely its just natural colouration and nothing to worry about. Black spot itself is not that common in fish. Hes a cutie

Looks like pigment to me. Black spots can be fluke eggs, but those look too big to be that
