they may "tolerate" it reasonable well, but long term it will only weaken them. I beleive they are best suited at ~1.0012, I currently have mine at 1.0016 and they seem to be doing fine. I plan on moving them to a new tank soon.

get a few of these guys if youe going to get them, they seem much more active in larger groups. I have a fairly high current and they even eat freeze dried plankton/krill and even flake food when it's in the current.
