I haven't seen any of these lately.. does anyone here keep this strain? I always thought they were fairly cute little fish. I would love to see pictures if anyone does have them here.

I've never heard of them, so I had to google them. They are so pretty! I just have bumblebee platies, and panda platies.

Bumblebee and panda? I have never heard of/seen those strains. Is that what you call them because of their appearance?

That's what the LFS called them. I"m sure those aren't accurate names, but I don't know the real name for them. I just checked, I do have a couple pics of them. Here they are, sorry about the water spots in the "bumblebee" pics. The spots are on the glass, not the fish!

Ah, the names fit. :) I really like those bumbleebee ones, they are gorgeous!

Thanks, Malorie. I know what they look like, I was just wondering if anyone here keeps them personally & has pictures to share.

strains of livebearers can be kinda volatile; some are very unstable and can disappear as quickly as the emerge.
Very true, but I think bleeding heart platies have been around for some time.. although I may be mistaken.

I have some, like the ones pictured above, they're sort of an in-between of the Bleeding heart and the Tiger strains. They also have black fins.
