what colors do they come in and what would you pay for them? :dive2:

If I had any blood parrots in my tank I'd be prepared to pay quite a lot to have them removed!

JOKES! :D

I do actually have one in my monster tank that is the only survivor from the first batch of fish I got right in the beginnning. I've only got him for sentimental reasons as I've since decided that I'm not into hybrid fish. I think I paid about the equivalent of 1USD for him, but it's difficult to compare fish prices cos fish are really cheap here... ;)

wow I have seen 5inch ones for 25 USD and I thought it was a good deal. oh and fish catch google blood parrot and you might think different about the colors

You should also look into King Kong blood parrots. They are a very intense red and get to monster sizes as their name suggests.

I recently got 2 tiny Blood Parrots. One is black/gray striped, the other tan with horizontal spots (the other occasionally shows this coloration). According to info I've found, they will color up from yellow to orange, naturally. Of course, any good foods that will provide coloring nutrients won't hurt. I paid . . . almost 6.00US for each (a bit over one inch).
