Just a neat pic I thought I'd share. I'm kind of a noob to aquarium plants, but know pearling is a good thing. This java fern seems to have sprung a leak from a vein in a torn leaf, leaving a trail of bubbles up the left side of the pic.

I only got plants to do this once  About a week after I set up the tank I did a 50% water change right from the tap. It was quite cold and apparently gassy. The plants seemed to like it.

CO2 helps w/ pearling.
w/ a DIY CO2 id get some pearling at the peak of CO2 production, but
since i bumped up to 4.8wpg every one of my plants pearls all day long everyday :dance2:
its actually quite distracting, happens so much i swear the fish pearl sometimes! i did catch my rams eating the oxygen and on had a bubble stuck on its lip.

I have some Anacharis that does this every day. Never had a clue what was going on, but the plants are very healthy.
