Blue Acaras are one of the very first cichlids I bought way back in the day.
I have kept them with some real funky mixtures of fish and with the exception of one that seemed to be a little wacky.
I never had a problem with them. Even when I bred them they were great parents who left everyone alone as long as they stayed away from their nest and brood.
If you have the room.
I don't think that you should have any problems.
woo hoo, my LFS got 4 of them in the other day.
They are only juveniles so I'm hoping that I can introduce this guy without any problems. All my fish in my tank have been together for over a year.
I bought 2. They seem to be doing fine. My rainbow chases them from "his" spots, but he chases everyone from there. They are getting the big eyeball from my 8" Golden Severum but other than that, I love them! excellent color!
