I got 10 of them (5 males and 5 females) 2 days ago. I tried to feed them with Sera San flakes, but they refused each time I tried. Food just drops to the bottom where Amano shrimps are dancing around their discovered lunch!

They all look happy and healthy, some are swimming near the current, some prefer to dwell near bottom and sometimes they all come together.

Any advice? What type of food they prefer?

2 days isn't horrible since they may still be adjusting. Have you tried tastier treats like brine shrimp or daphnia?

Are they wild caught or tank raised or what? If wild you may lose some or get close to it before they accept the flakes as food, if tank raised then they are probably just adjusting as Gabe said. It could also be, as Gabe said, a lack of tasty treats.

They are tank raised, my policy is to never buy the wild-caught fish. :) Anyway, they just started eating! Woohoo! :D However, I noticed they require very fine flakes, I have to crush them into tiny pieces. The bigger ones just fall to the bottom like before, with some of the fish trying to chew them but without success. I will buy daphina or some other food, to add more variety.

Haha, so they were probably looking at the food and thinking "Why do you torment us? This is too much food. That is truly evil, fishkeeper person."
