Hi, in my bettas 26litre tank I have 3 blue ramshorns & 2 red ramshorns. I noticed yesterday that I have baby blues in my tank. Will this cause a problem for my tank? I'm taking as many as I can out myself but worried it will make problems. Any advice would be great :)

I started out with 1 red ramshorn and now have about 70. They multiply like crazy. If you don't want this to happen, look for the eggs and scrape off what you can. They're usually in the corners on the sealant and look & feel like little round gobs of yellow jello (at least my reds do--not sure if blues look different). I run my fingernail up the corners from bottom to top and catch the eggs, lay the gobs onto a piece of paper towel, then put the towel w/eggs in a ziplock bag and store in the freezer. When the bag is full I toss and start a new one. I also have plants so that's an added challenge as they love to lay eggs there too. Good luck.

Thats what I,ve been doing, thinking off moving the adults into my bigger tank, I,ve got some fish that will eat the eggs. Thanks for your help
