Getting a shipment of new bettas, so I need the space that he is taking up. I hate to have to part with him, though. "Huckleberry" was an awesome Petco find that I bred twice, and has proved a great betta.
Here is a picture of him before his finnage was shredded by another male [see below for more info on that](if you recognize the picture, yes, he is the star of my website):
And a picture after his finnage was torn. His fins aren't nearly as bad now (they have healed quite a bit since the fight) and the reason he is pale in this picture is because I was shining a flashlight on him instead of turning the light on.
The reason his finnage is so shredded is because he was in a divided tank when a male leapt over the divider. If you know bettas you can guess the rest.
