Bluethroat Trigger Problem

i got a male bluethroat trigger (about 6 inches) a week ago and since then he is constantly hiding, he comes out for about 30 seconds maybe twice a day, i also got a blue tang at the same time as the trigger and he is eating like a hog and doing perfect as are all of my other fish; since he is hidind all the time, he gets no food, what should i do? i don't have the means to quarentine him, water quality is perfect, please help

Give him some more time ,he will come out. I have two females and they were the same way when I brought them home. Now they come out all the time.

that's what i thought too but i just thought this was irregular since it has been a little more than a week?

they can hold out for a bit but i would try to get some food back to it if u can. we had one that would hide every time we feed it at my old work...but if u walked away and hid so it didn't see u it would come out and eat...what are u trying to feed it btw?

tyr to get some krill to sink down near the trigger u can ward off the other fish with a net or stick feeder.
