BN plecos and driftwood

I was wondering if it was absolutely necessary for BN plecos to have driftwood?

I was wondering because i have one in my 60 gal african tank with BN plecos and i kind of wanted to take it out because it kind of looks weird with all the rock and a piece of driftwood...

Move it over to the BN's. They'll appreciate more hiding places.

In my experience No but they very much enjoy hiding places.

Yeah i have a lock of rocks stacked up in the tank where they can hide...
