Has anybody besides me been flooded with emails with the headings of “your email was blocked, your password, mailing error, registration conformation, and the always present Re:” in the last two days between the two different services I use I’ve receive at lest 200 of these they all seen to be 73mb attachments (but I’m not about to open one.). The return addresses have been from every email service out there under the headings of “Admin, service, register, postmaster, remove, and info, I even had one with my own email address as the return and some with government agencies.

I haven't received those, but I keep getting emails from women asking if I'd like to see pics of them or meet. And emails from businesses telling me I need to update my account with more personal information. What's funny is that I don't have an account with them!

Sheesh!

It's not just you. I've gotten several of these over the last couple of days, and my IT people are attributing it to this:

That’s what they look like, if I hadn’t gotten so many at the same time I mite have open it. Hopefully it’s one of those spammer’s computer networks that got infected; now that would be justice.

Its just a form of junk mail, :spam:.
Another way to try and trick you to reply, open attachments, gain account information, etc.
Therefore getting more spam sent, getting viruses and CC/Bank Account information.

Les, according to news I heard on the radio, it's a virus.

Those quotes -- "emails with the headings of “your email was blocked, your password, mailing error, registration conformation, " are the exact quotes mentioned.

Lila, those are a scam to get your credit card or other account information. They're not even from the businesses they claim to be. A legitimate business will never initiate an email with you asking for account or personal information. Apparently some of these scammers have convincing looking websites to trick you. A friend of mine fell victim to not one, but TWO of these scams. Now he is dealing with trying to clear up a big mess: identity theft. They were opening up all kinds of credit cards & accounts in his name. It's a huge mess to try to clean up for anyone this has happened to. Please be careful!

I am to where I don't even open anything that I don't know where it came from.
Occasionally you will get people trying to scam you ebay id. I got a couple when I first started, bur not any now for a long time. Ebay has done a pretty good job educating their customers.
