I have a wonderful little bolivian ram, and the two bullies are mating again and keep picking on him when ever they decide its time to lay eggs which is weekly. the blood parrot is infertile so no hatchings, just contstant egg laying. any ways I would love to put my bolivian in with the guppies and the platys, but want to be sure they will be safe. what do you think? there are also baby platys in the tank, not sure he will not eat those, but if you think he will do fine with the guppies I will move the babies out of there.
thanks

I have two guppies in w/ two B. rams and they don't even notice them. Fry on the other hand are probably fair game!

well just like jm said the ram will be much happier in a tank where hes not being pciked on... and if you have unwanted fry then the ram will do a little cleaning up for ya.

yeah, your all rigfht of course, I got more platy b aby then carters got nuts here lately. just when I got rid of the excess guppy, the platys decided to break forth. now there all bursting at the seams and there is 30 fry in the last month. looks like another freebee on craigs list this week.
I am also taking down 2 tanks :( the power bills are thru the roof and I have to down size. breaks my heart but my power bill was 159.00 this month and thats with out air conditioning and with out using the oven:eek3::eek: same for the last 3 months. with winters in the below zero digits for months on end here I can not afford all the tanks now . :headshake2:
