I have never noticed this on anyother bottle of water. But this bottle from Nestle has a complete breakdown of what's in itwrapper pic

I have a lot of this sitting around, could I use it to top the tank up? Just add a little Chlorine remover, everything else is good for the tank isn't it?

Spring Water VS Purified Water

Aberfoyle is a spring water, which means it comes from the ground potable. It doesn't contain chlorine and most springwaters are similar in this respect. If it has anything added, it will say on the bottle. Sometime flouride is added which is negligible. The only real reason that some spring waters break down their contents is because every spring tastes a bit different due to trace elements, kH and pH specific to the aquafer from which they are drawn. Any bottled spring water should be relatively close to nuetral pH (within half a point), the kH and hardness can vary greatly.
Purified water like Aquafina, Dasani, etc. are factory filtered and thus have very few trace elements and very neutral taste.

YES, you can use your water to top off the tank. If you aren't already running weekly chemistry workups then the type of fish you'red keeping are hearty enough to withstand mild fluctuaton.

It's expensive, but if you really want to, then use your bottled water. You don't need chlorine remover.
