I currently have 9 panda cories and 2 otos in a 20g long planted tank. I want to add a little more driftwood to create some hiding places and more surface area. Once that's done, I was hoping to add a couple more otos and a few kuhli loaches.

Is that too many bottom feeders for my tank, or will they be ok? I was planning on adding a half dozen or so of some type of small colorful tetra to have something swimming around, but I really love cories and loaches and would get as many as I can fit. I can watch my cories swimming around in a school for hours :D.

I agree, 2 more otos and that's it. Kuhlis would be ok in a 20L, just not with 9 pandas

Thanks, guess I just have to convince my girlfriend to let me buy another tank so I can stock it with some Kuhlis :D.

Could I put 3-4 Kuhlis in a 10g with caves and some sand patches for them to bury, or is a 20L about the minimum for them to be happy?

I'd say do at least a 20L for kuhlis
