ok i have a GSP and he is freaking awesome, but i need snails that will live in brackish water. the snails i put in his tank now, some of them die before he eats them. i bought 3 mystery snails, one with a broken shell. will he eat these? they are quite big, as big as him, he is only about 1 1/2" long, but i want his teeth to be keep grinded down. any help please

Get some pond snails (pest snails) from a LFS. Set up a small aqaurium or bowl to breed them in. If they are in the tank with the puffer, they will not be able to breed. Feed them leftover flake/pellets/tablets/veggies, make sure their water is fresh, put in a heater and set the temp a little over 80. This is freshwater, by the way. HTH.

I heard you can get brackish-bred snails, but they are hard to find, petstores or local aquarium societies would probably be the best. Maybe the market on here.
