Breeding: Average fish prices

Not to reduce the hobby/passion of breeding to a solely monetary pursuit but this is something I know I have been curious about and have seen no guides/stickies/threads on.

That being said: What do you normally receive for the fish species you trade/sell to LFSs/private buyers? Please be specific as to size, number, and age of fish, and if possible name the company/organizations you sold to (personal business need not be listed).

Can't really breed fish for money if your just going to give them to your lfs. Usually one third the retail value for the fish.

half of what they will sell them for or less. local fish clubs usually have auctions and lots of networking and with the warmer temps comming its easier to ship if you wanted to do aquabid. you will get good prices for less common breeds.
