I have a 125 gallon tank, in it i have one black convict and two what i was told are "pink convicts"??? At another store they were labled "Parrots". Anyone know what they are? Differnt body and fins than the black convict.

The two pink ones are building nests and their bellies have recently been a bright orange. The black convict swims from nest to next. They both have laid eggs but have ended up eating them within a few days, whats goin on???

Im new to the fish world so any advise would help, thanks!

Parrots...as in Blood parrots...are hybrid.

Orange on belly means they are female.

It is common for first timer to eat their eggs (even though I've never experienced it). They will try a few times until they get it right.
