I have a wide variety of freshwater fish in my tank. These include tetras, rasboras, and danios, among others. I am interested in breeding, but I don't know a darn thing about it! 1. How do I tell if the fish is male or female? 2. How do I encorage spawning? 3. How do know if the female is pregnant? 4. How do I take care of fry? 5. Are these fish egglayers or livebearers? These are just several of my questions. Help would be appreciated! Thanks!!!

Egg layers. Danio breed in short grasses by dropping their eggs into them. I don't know about tetras, but I think it's hard to get them to breed in a community setting.
Thanks! So I should buy some short grass to put in the tank and hopefully the danios will breed? Do you know how to tell if they are male or female?
