I want to make a large Fry net to put in my larger tanks so I wouldnt have so many tanks set up. Does anyone knows where I can find the material netting used to make aquarium fish nets/ Breeding nets????

You probably can find it(nylon mesh) at a fabric store or craft section. Depending on the number, it might be cheaper to buy ones from an online pet retailer.

Do not tell the wife but I use her panty hose:)
better than buying them at CVS and having to explain to your friends what your doing....

+1 on the plastic mesh, that should work good if you can find it in your local crafts store. If your worried about having adult fish eat them, then why not move the adults into a small temporary tank, and then move them back to a decent tank after they spawn.

you could put temporary dividers into the fry growout tank, so that you could let the parents spawn, while previous hatches are in the other side. Once the parents can go, just remove the dividers.....

I made a good sized one for my Severum fry using a small plastic container and some styrofoam. I got the clear box at the dollar store and had a sheet of 1/2" sheet foam already. Just melt some small holes on all the sides using a paperclip you heat up in a candle flame. Then just cut out a hole in the foam so that it will ride up close to the top of the bin when it's in the water. The holes don't allow great water exchange so I use a cup and scoop out some of the water regularly, the tank water rushes back in to replace it. I would provide a picture but am unsure how to post one. I put a bit of the sand substrate form the tank in there and I threw a few loose Java Fern in as well. Good Luck!
