I just wanted to get input from actual users, as to how effective this product is.

I'm looking to breed dwarf cichlids (apistogramma), and would like to know if it will help fry growth and make life a bit easier, especially when I don't have time to wait 24 hours for the brine shrimp to hatch, rinse, and feed.

I kind of want a compromise between increasing fry grow out/health through live food, and not having it be too time consuming.

If it just flat out sucks, I'd like to know that too, and why:grinyes:.

I have it and its packed away never could get it to work right. Great idea just could not get it to work.
I use three wide mouth mason jars that I feed my angel fry three time a day. great for 25-50 fry.

I can't give you an answer as to dwarf cichlids (apistogramma) but its the easiest way to grow out angel fry

Isn't that the Jarvik Artificial Heart? replumbed for brine shrimp?

Sorry...that WAS my first thought :)

Quote:"The saltwater and eggs in this hatchery do not mix with the tank water, yet the newly hatched shrimp can freely swim into the aquarium for your fish to eat." hmmm....

I have one of the "upside-down 2liter bottle on a base" hathcers...worked fine for me. I used a piece of airline as a pipette to suck 'em up. drop into fine brine shrimp net, rinse if desired and swish net in tank
