Brine Shrimp help

I know that this might be the NEWBiest question but oh hell... Here it goes.

I know how to hatch the guys. I'm hatching them in 1/2G jugs. Now the question is how to raise them big enough to feed the bigger fishes?

I've read about feeding them algae. How? I want to keep things going with my 1/2G jugs since they're easier to wash and keep around.

So how do I raise brine shrimp and how do I grow algae to feed them.

place bucket o' water with chlorine removed
in a really sunny spot. Trust me you'll get some algae action going on. a little sprinkle of fish food wouldn't hurt either. remember algae is just like any other plant so provide sunlight and food.

Cool. Now how about raising the little critters? I suck them out of their hell hole and then what? Do I just dump them in the green water or what?

Oh, and does anyone know about how to raise bloodworms too?

I just find bloodworms in my pool if i do not open it forthe year. Bloodworms are larvae of Midges(mosquito-like insects), and so there is really no way of "raising" bloodworms unless you plan to keep colonies of Midges to reproduce and so forth. The bloodworms i find are on the bottom and are usually encased in a pod of algae.
