Hey everyone, this is my first post. I am setting up a twenty-long riverine aquarium with a PVC manifold flow system (pictured in A River Runs Through It by Martin Thoene). I don't intend to have a very high flow rate; I just want medium uni-directional flow. I am already planning to stock with a few panda loaches and have filled requirements for them. But I have run into a dilemma, I have a two-year-old male bristle nose pleco (Ancistrus cirrhosus) that is currently being housed in a blackwater tank after my planted community tank was taken down. This is not ideal. I have read online that their habitat is clearwater streams and seen Cory from aquarium coop (youtube) catch bn plecos in a moderately flowing stream. I have never seen a bn pleco in a riverine aquarium though. Can I keep this pleco in my new aquarium?
