Broken feeler

My new Pimelodus[FONT=Calibri, Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] [/FONT][FONT=Calibri, Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]pictus has what looks like a broken barbel. One of the barbels is bent at a right angle almost like it is broken. I assume that it was done at Petsmart when they caught the little guy for me. I guess my question is, "will it grow back if it breaks off at the bend? He doesn't seem any the worse for the wear and I don't want to take him back which could make matters worse.

Your fish will be fine. Cat fish are durable.

Mine had the same thing happen. Poor guys whisker was bent at a right angle. It didn't seem to bother him and it grew back out in a couple of months.
