Bronze Cory/Cory breeding in general

About how long till Corys (Bronze) are able to breed? I've had my Bronze for about a year now and it's just over and inch long. Is there a certain size they have to be to be able to lay eggs/breed? Just curious cause I'd like to get into breeding eventually and wondering if I should be buying the "full grown" ones or continue getting the much cheaper young ones.

mine first started laying eggs after id had them for about a year and half...i think it is best to buy young fish and grow them on. i hope this helps, and im sorry i do not know much about the actual breeding of this fish.
