This past week a large bullfrog invaded my outdoor pond and took up residence there. After a few unsuccessful attempts I finally evicted the invader. Now nearly half of my comets and kois are missing or dead. I didn't know that bullfrogs eat goldfish and/or kois.

Yes, they do. They also eat other species of frogs. Bullfrogs want ponds that are full of water year-round, and most other frogs and toads do better with seasonal ponds (especially because it keeps the bullfrogs away).

Since I built my pond, I think i'm up to about 14 bullfrogs. I've never had problems with them eating the fish though....except maybe guppies, but i've got so many i wouldn't miss a few hundred. the turtles leave them alone too, which was surprising to me.

Lol, the issue around here is herrons. They not only will eat your fish but, they'll eat frogs to. Oh well thank god for firecrackers and netting.

What kind of turtles do you have?? I have one in a 75 gallon tank, id love to know what the h*** it is tho!! Any info about links or sites that might help me identify "Speedy" would be greatly appreciated THX Jack
