butterfly fish

y wont my butterfly fish eat the glass anemones i have thats the reason i got it?!?!?!?!?!? :laugh:

what kind of butterfly some only eat plankton or SPS or what ever specific food they eat, some eat a broder range of food
The copperband would be the best choice porbally for a reef a aquarium but its not guarnteed. pepermint shrimp should also but may eat other things like xenia, molting crabs, wanted host anemones etc.

Copperbands are the ones to tackle aiptasia. Mind you, copperbands are not the easiest fish to keep. Peppermint shrimps are a far better otion. Make sure they are true peppermints and not camel shrimps as the latter will eat other polyps
