ah man i want that. how big of a tank do they need?

I saw those once, they're neat. Do they require a lot of specialized care or no?

I used to have one and he/she was a great tank attraction. You MUST make sure there are no escape routes for them. Mine got out twice. The first time was not long but he/she did have carpet fuzz and evidence of cats playing. The second time was deadly as the cats decided it to be a tasty treat and I did not find him/her for a few days.
Great addition to a tank....very cool to watch eat and just cruise.

I had four, when they were young, about 3 years ago, I had them in a 29 gallon tank. As adults they will grow to about 18 inches long and about as big around as your thumb. They do love to escape, so the tank needs to be completly sealed. With them as adult I have moved them to a 55 gallon tank and have the babies in the 29 for now. I would love to keep them all but my boy was busy and between the 3 girls I have 24 babies! Gustation is almost a year so I am be doing this again.

I love them, they are really easy to care for. Keep the temp between 76-82. Have a sand or pebble botton, they love to dig under the rocks and hide. They like plants and hiding places, I have driftwood. I feed mine either live earthworms or frozen shrimp cut into small pieces. It looks like something out of the movie TREMORS if they are under the sand or pebbles when you put the foos in as they will burrow under the food and pop out to grab it and pull back under. They are facinating to watch. THey will eat smaller, slower fish but if you put them in with loaches or alge eaters they are fine. I have also had good luck with guppies and rainbow fish.

I hope this helps.

These guys are amazing. Our local fish store had them in, and they were tying themselves in knots and such. Good luck selling them.

Would love to purchase one or two

I had a caecilian in a tank about 8 years ago - what a riot! He got out a couple of times, but they are worth the effort. Will you sell one, and if so how much with shipping to zip 30620 in Georgia? Thanks.
