I got two pounds of california black worms in the mail today. Here are some I put in my 120 tall.

As you can see everyone in the tank loves them =-p.

Stars of the video, Bolivian rams, bristle nose plecos(male, female, and baby), peppered corries, and you might see an otto in there somewhere.

Let me know what you think or if you have any questions :)

video is low quality from my cell, but you can still see the red carpet of worms :)

Thats awesome! I have a question though... ummmm WTF?! haha please tell me everything haha I have a bunch of fish that would loooove these!

Well, simply put they are tiny worms =-p. They naturally live in freshwater, so if you put them in your tank they can and will live there until they are eaten, or if you don't have enough fish to eat them they will create a population in your tank if they get enough food. Literally any uneaten food will be devoured by these guys. It's very cool to watch them cluster up on left over zucchini and food. I had a tank with just black worms for about a year until I fed them all to my fish. You can buy them online and they are sent overnight to your door. I get mine from aquiticfoods.com.

The worm keepers they have imo are only good for very short term keeping. If you want to keep them for a long time put them in a tank of their own with plants, and snails and shallow substrate, and a filter. Clean water and plenty of food is the key to keeping and maintaining a growing population of these.

Everything in the tank loves to eat them. When I was breeding mystery snails they would even gobble these up. These are the only thing that seems to get my peacock eel nice and fat!

Here is a picture for those of you that don't want to watch the video lol.

Not sure to be honest. I know they are found in freshwater in the states.
