For those of you out there that are lucky enough to live in pennsylvania; just wondering if any of you had any luck with thatfishplace.com?
I know they had bad fish problems (filter loop) but i wanted to know is anyone here has eveer ordered anything elks with luck.

I pretty much won't buy fish from them.. The filter loops, coupled with the length of the drive home and the differences in water parameters between there and my house doesn't give me much of a success rate..

But I've had good luck with plants, and dry goods from there. I've bought a couple of oceanic stands, a couple of filters, substrate and numerous other things.


Remember their pricematch policy.. ;) They will pricematch in person, just bring a printout of the webpage in question.


Nowadays, I'll save the trouble and gas money driving there and order from big als, it's normally delivered overnight or 2 day to NE PA, I don't have to spend $30-40 on gas and shipping is comparable to what I'd pay in tax.


of course YMMV, and some things don't make much sense to ship
 
I do all my shopping there. Fish, hardware, dry goods, etc. I've had much better success with fish from there than anywhere else. I've only got a 40 minute drive from Harrisburg though. I do wish I lived closer. I'd go there just to hang out. It's an awesome place to visit.
 
AC meet at that pet place ?

If they have a decent sale sometime in the future I'd be game.
 
nice, that gives me a reason to make the trip out there now.
