im sorry they are blurry but its best i can do at night i guess i took about 25 pics and all were blurry ill try again in daylight if no one can identify it

I am guessing hippocampus ramulosus, spiny sea horse, as the pictures are blurry and i can not see them pictures, i will give you instructions on how to ID it, are there light spotted areas on the head/snout/and a radiating pattern around the eye, they should have spiny proturberances especially along the back, they generally occur in seagrass beds and inshore bays, seldom on coral reefs.

i did a altavista image seach on that seahorse and it looks nothing like that i will get a better pic up soon since im still updating my shark post as it goes

Yeah, if it is new from the ocean, you will need to wean it onto frost foods, no chance it will eat frozen, you will need live brine or mysis or the sort, even then it is not ceartin that it will eat. it is probably stressed at the moment, and the tank is a bit small, if it doesn't eat after a week or so, i would return to the ocean, otherwise it's unlikely he will live.

thats good. maybe he just needed some live food.

try feeding it live blackworms, or maybe get a bloodworm cup and try feeding it that way...

btw... that is a good sized seahorse
