I have a Geophagus Labiatus. I have been moving him from tank to tank trying to figure out mates for him. Bought him from imperial tropicals. Their website says they are peaceful, but he ate his other 3 buddies, he attacks the cichlasoma dimerus'(top tank mate for him on imperials' website and already killed 3 outta 5). He is in a tank with 4 baby oscars(all under 3.5 inches). He is scared in the oscar tank.. My only option is to house with my bolivian rams. Can this be done?

If it's aggressive and killed other fish, keep it away from the Rams. they don't need stress from a large aggressive fish. Also try cooler water as it's native to Southern Brazil and Uruguay so the warmer water may be a trigger to aggression.

Cichlid-Forums article says to start them off for 3 months in colder water.
