I just fininshed setting up a new 55 gal tank, no fish in it yet. My filtration is an undergravel filter and a Odyssea CFS4(Jebo 838) canister. When was positioning the spray bar I got some great advise from some very nice people on this forum. Thanks

The bar is located about 1/2 below the water surface on the left side wall of the tank and the input in on the right wall.

But, here's my problem(question) the output from the spray bar is creating a very strong current in the tank. It's pushing the plants al over the place.
Is there any way to lower the force of the water coming out of the spray bar?

Drill the holes one size larget - the same water volume will come out bit at much reduced velocity. Ir drill another set of holes the same size as the originals, a new one in between each pair of the originals - same effect, not quite so dramatic. One of the great things about canisters is the ability to customize the output.
