1) Pinch off or remove all those leaves with holes and the brown ones==This gives more nutrients to the "healthier leaves. Even if you only have 2 leaves left.
2) A wetdry is not bad for plants===Just not good for CO2.
3) If you have CO2 and "Good" lights, then you MUST add ferts for better growth.

If you want--You can seal off the wetdry (not use it) and have a canister instead.

good idea on the canister, now how do i go abote doing the ferts and kind should i use?

20-40 Gallons
1/4 tsp KNO3 3x a week
1/16 tsp KH2PO4 3x a week
1/16 tsp K2SO4 3x a week
1/16 tsp (5ml) traces 3x a week

This is from the "Sticky" in the begining of plant thread.

The holes in your plants are most likely potassium deficiency. You do need to add in some fert's. Do not remove the affected leaves until new growth starts to form after you start dosing some ferts.

Potassium is very easily translocated from old growth to new growth. Pruning the plants right now is not what you want to do. It will stress the plants more and may cause them to stall in their growth.

With a wet dry filter CO2 is out-gassed as it passes through the filter. So adding in a DIY system doesn't really give you any benefit. That being said if you have nutrient deficiencies already so you don't really need to worry a out CO2 right now.

Check out my sig if you want to see what you can do without adding CO2.

ok you guys got me thinking on to co2 and the filter, so this is what i did

i took all the bio balls out and replace it with filter floss, took the drip plate out and fill the whole space with water so there woludt be any driping or saplashing, so you think this would be better so not to lose c02?
