I made my own website and I have a "getting started" page. Can you please read it over and tell my if i should change anything or forgot anything? Thanks

I like your site a lot, because it explains each section in a very simple, and easy to understand way. For people who are not knowledgable with fish and tanks, your site will be very helpful because they will be able to understand even the most complicated components of beginning a tank, which to me is the Biological and Mechanical Filtration, which you descirbed perfectly! Maybe if you are planning on setting up a new tank soon, you can take digital pictures of the process and make a guide to physcially setting it up. Like adding substrate, decorations, water, and plants. You also could add links to help readers continue their research, such as a link to The Krib for plants, Aquaria Central for fish help, and Fishprofiles.com for fish profiles (maybe even Takashi Amanos Nature Aquarium's site for enthusiatic readers). It looks good! The only thing I'd add is under the substrate section, a part about how you can add fertilizers such as Sera, or Fluorite as substrate to the tank, then a small layer of gravel over the top of it to help the plants grow more, and maybe something about adding liquid fertilizers to help growth, and CO2. Awesome job!

There is a formula out there somewhere for heaters that takes into account the ambient room temperature -- if you're keeping the room at 80 degrees, you don't really need a heater.
The 1-2 wpg in lights for a planted tank is considered fairly low light. I'm at 2.4 and wouldn't mind being brighter.
And just from an old english major, "lower the nitrates, which depict water quality" (at the end of cycling) is sort of an odd construction. "which indicate poor water quality" might be better.
But on the whole, nice!

There is one point I'd like to argue with: the timeframes you have listed for fishless and fishy cycling are a little optimistic, in my opinion. I've found that fishy cycling can take up to 3 months to be complete, depending on the type of fish and the person's diligence in cleaning and feeding properly. Everything I've read indicates that fishless can be done in a week or two, but usually takes a little longer.
Like I said, overall, this looks REALLY good, and there's a lot of good information, I just have the one issue with it (and it may be just a "me" thing and not everyone's experience...).

Ok.... Just because you can build a website... MUST you? Your info is great and the site is helpfull. But there are hundreds of other sites that provide the same info (this website being one). MY suggestion is to add something to yours that No other website has... What that could be..I dont know?

maybe list a phone number and provide over the phone assistance (second phones lines are cheap)
you have to make it look different then all the rest or you wont distinguish yourself.

Sting, I just finished setting up a 72g tank and I am fishless cycling it now. My dad might bring a digital camera home for a few days from work or I might borrow one from a friend and take pictures and put them on the site.

well..sorry to say.. but sometimes the truth hurts. He needs to add something to his website that makes his stand out from the rest. When survivor first came out, wow..what a HIT... Never done before. NOW, its been copied to death. Sure, some of the copy cat shows are good, but never the same hit. Thats what Devil needs. He needs that same concept. Something to DRAW people to his website that makes his different from all the rest.

I love your analogies. "Creatain death" Ha! That's great. You are a funny guy Jamison, funny guy. 
I don't have a webcam so doing something like that is impossible. Also, If I gave out my phone number, even my second line or cell, my mother would kill me because people would be calling at all different times, like in the middle of the night. And what if I didn't know the answer to their question, then I gotta feel like a banana head because I told them to call me and I can't help. Maybe you should give me your number and I will have tons of people call you at 2:00 a.m. asking about their fish.
