I have a 120 gal tank and would like to get a good canister filter. What can you recommend? :read:

Eheim Pro II 2028, or Eheim Pro III 2080. both excellent filters. You'll pay a pretty penny to get them, but theyre well worth the investment IMO.

OTOH, Penguin/Emperor Biowheel HOB's are nice too.

The Rena Filstars are nice, and much cheaper. I would probaby run two xp3s on a tank that size, I think their flow rates tend to be a little exaggerated.

I'd go Eheim Pro3 myself. You get a ton of features not found on other filters. I wouldnt expect setting up a tank 120G or larger to be 'cheap', but if your not looking to spend alot then maybe a diy sump if your handy. And in the future please wait atleast 24hrs before bumping the post, no need to post again in less than an hour.;)

Three Mag 350's. Plus RUGF.

Sorry if i did the wrong thing. I wont do it again. Thanks for the input. No I am not trying to go too cheap. I have a aquaclear110 and want to add a canister.
