I was in a lfs and saw this filter on sale for $179. Is this a good price or that filter? Is it a good filter in general? I would use it for my 80g. Thanks

It's hard to say, because I love my LFS and supporting them...but when it comes to filters and heaters I buy online. Usually from kensfish.com or amazon.com. There's just too much of a price difference. And a much more vast selection.

I would go for the 1500 from Amazon and you would still be saving money.
