Cats and fish: too darn cute!

Thanks for the compliments. I've changed my plant setup greatly from that pic, but it does actually look better now. I have many TX holy rocks, PM me if you want that specific one or one like it... I got a million of 'em.

I had no idea other people shared the hobby with their cats too! We have two cats who couldn't care less, and one who positively adores the fish. He sits and watches both tanks for hours every day, and when I open a container of fish food he demands to be fed whatever the fish are eating - he loves Hikari wafers most of all :)
Next to fish and dogs, cats are just about the best pets there are :D

Ok so i dont have a picture of my cat with my fish but i have a picture of her with my frog! :p

clayt101 - Well......... that plant is doing the same as yours; first all the new leaves that grew were much smaller than the originals.... I guess it's just not a low-light plant, which is all I have or want. That pic was taken soon after I got a whole whack of it for an amazing low price, so it was worth a try.

Shaz - That's so sweet. Your cat looks quite young (?)

Hey Kveeti! Yeah she is only about two and a half years old though the photo was taken about 6 months ago.
xxxxxxxxxx

Such a cute cat Spartan. I agree he does look a little spaced out!! lol

I'd take the rock. Still have it?
I do, less the algae of course. I'll have to weigh it and find out what shipping is to Nebraska. This is where this might become cost-prohibitive.

Seriously tho, if you want a rock 'like' that one, find a local landscaper and tell them you want some Texas Holy Rock. That's where I got all those rocks, and several types of flagstone as well. Be sure and take some white vinegar with you to the landscaper's; pour it on the rock you want, and if it bubbles, put the rock back. No bubbles? Good enough for your tank.
