One of the pics looks like heater ceramic & element in a filter tube, is that what it is - or is it just a clear heater, and the photo is making it looked curved? got any more details/photos of this?

If it is 100_227 or 100_2279 it is just a clear heater I was just taking a pic of the suction cup on it to post and ask what was happining to it.
