I am not a very big fan of PETA, in fact I am against pretty much all of their core beliefs. But anyways, it is my understanding that they won't help you out. They are anti-fishkeeping, whether we are being humane about it or not. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that this has already been discussed at some length.

I think you're right. I agree with Elizabeth, I don't think there's much we can do about this. Just make an effort to educate ourselves and others.
