Check Your Aquarium Stand!

Don't trust your stand just 'cause it's made for aquariums. We got ours from PetSmart. It looks good, but when we checked inside (underneath), we were amazed at the lack of support!! Support brackets were added.... Most likely the tank would have broke the stand.

How big was the tank, and the stand?

Just curious, wondering if your tank was really tall and that's why the stand wasn't strong enough

Yes, you just can't beat stapled 1/2" particle board!

Those stands are scary.
