I just moved my cichlids to the 55 again. then I put the community fish in the 40 tall. Its filter was missing the gaurd cover. I was waching the tank and all the sudden, the filter stops. I scan the tank in hopes that a pies of something got sucked up,instead of my yoyo loach. I take the tube off, nothing comes out. I stand over a sink, and start blowing into the tube to get the clog out. I blow hard enogh that one of the 5 inch wheater loach goes fling in the air!!!!!!!! I try to cach it but the slimy loach goes down the drain :( :soda: :soda: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT FLEW INTO THE AIR AND DOWN THE DRAIN.No way to get it back now. one of the loach was large, one was algea green with dark brown spots, but the one that went fdown the drain was not large, nor colorful, yet it was the one that would swim through your fingers, with personality.

What kind of drain? If it was the sink and you haven't run any water down it, it might still be in the u-pipe. If so...try taking it apart. If it's the toilet, then yeah...nothing you can do. That sucks.

*edit...just re-read your post. Hopefully you haven't kept the water going on the faucet.
