Cherry shrimp and ?

I keep Brig Apple snails with my shrimpies; shrimpies will ride on the bigguns and eat off their shells.

10 gal tank with sponge filter, a sprig of water wysteria and a bunch of java moss.

Break up an algea wafer and spread it across the front of the tank; all chow down-don't last long (the 2 adult snails have laid 5 clutches and I got around 200-300 babies-they are going to fellow fishkeepers and in my other tanks (except the JD tank-not until they get real big!))

If you decide you would like to sell a few brig snails PM me won't be able to do anything untel around the midle of Jan. I will look into them in the mean time and see if they are what I would like.

Hi i bought some cherry shrimp off ebay about 9 months ago and i added them to my 55 gal tank and some of my guppies picked them toooo much...so i moved 3 of them to a 10 gal tank ..i had 1 male and 2 females with eggs..1 female died before she laid her eggs..but the other hatched hers and from them 2 i have about 150 right now i have even trade some for other things and gave to my sister...but she had a hard time with hers for 1 thing she did not add any live plant and i think the got stressed. so add live plants..i have it in mine.i also have the ramshorn snails in there too..i get overloaded with them at times and i was flushing them till i found out how many people wanted them so now i give them away..ok if u have any ???? pm me ...good luck

I break up a Hikari Algea Wafer and drop it in the tank; shrimps and snails go nuts over it.

Also they feed on the algea and other micro organisims in the tank; I take java moss that is algea cover, drop in tank, it's clean the next day.

I actually feed my shirmp algae wafers and shimp pellets....keep in mind that cherry shrimp are omnivores so they do need some meet in their diet....from time to time they get a small piece of frozen food that i feed my discus and community tank....

I plan on giving mine (yes they have already eaten) a mixed diet. I am buying some sukiny (However you spell it) some blanched vegtibles and some algie wafers. I am also soaking some tiles in a small dish with water directly under a light so that I can give them these when they fill with algies (this is just an experament).

Well I live in the middle of the desert. But if you would like to send me some oak leaves well Yea I would try it. Maybe I will be able to get back up to my home state of Oregon one of these years. Summer time of course BRRRRRRRRR.

It's weird. My shrimp will not touch the Hikari algae wafers. I'm feeding a small fish in the tank with them baby brine shrimp and I think they are eating the artemia.
