Chinese algae eaters

So I bought these little 1 inch caes at my lfs and then I did some reasearch!!! they get upto ten inches!!!!!! So my question is if they don't hve enough room to grow will they??

PS my pet store won't take them back

Yes they will, and they'll do it rather fast. They can get real nasty too, I took mine back when it started to kill my other fish. They are evil!! EVIL! (My opinion) Some people here love them though.

CAE's have sucker mouths and their stripe isn't so distinct. That pic looks like a Siamese algae eater.

That looks more like mine. It says it doesn't exceed 6" in an aquarium. Good

That's what I was thinking too.

They come in (an albino?) gold to light yellow color too.

My only CAE began attacking the swordtails & guppies, so I had to do the humane thing. .....feed him to my Oscar :huh:
