Chocolate Chip Starfish

I recently just purchased a chocolate chip starfish. I feed the fish in my aquarium flaked food. should I put a little extra for the starfish, or should I feed him something different? I dont know if he is eating or not.

Since this is a "reef keepers" forum I am going to assume you have a reef. If you don't you are in luck because Chocolate Chip stars are mowers of about anything it will find including corals and is highly predatory. It will not survive if all you feed is flake food mainly because he can't capture it. Even if it falls to the bottom and he finds it I don't think this will be enough.

I would feed it frozen silversides or krill.

thank you, i dont have a reef, I began feeding him shrip bites yesterday
