Cichlid Clubs???

HI, i'm looking for a club or clubs in the lower Michigan area.
would like to join something like a club or group.
even any info on shows in this area.
I am sticking to SA/CA cichlids but any cichlid group would be nice.

I'm in the SW michigan area, Benton Harbor, MI.
any LFS that are around you that are pretty sweet please let me know, i love hitting new fish store, even if its just checking it out and looking at the fish!

[Cichlid Woman]

Boy, I'm looking for ANY kind of tropical fish club. For a fairly large midwestern city (Peoria, IL), I cannot believe the lack of any functioning fish club.

It's sad. I've checked out the net, and the only site I found was long dead. I e-mailed the guy on the site about whether or not the club was still active, and got no reply.

Do other folks have this problem?
