Anyone have any trouble putting blue lobsters in w/ africans. I have a synondontis multipunctatus and don't want to create trouble. It's a 72 gallon tank so I figured they would have room to avoid each other.

They'll probably co-exist fine, until the cray molts, and then it's lunch.

I'd be a bit worried about putting any bottom- or rock-dwelling fish in with a crayfish. Haven't kept crayfish myself for just that reason: I thought it was an invitation to get your bottom dwellers turned into lunch.

I haven't tried it with africans, but I did with 6" blue gourami's, Oscars, and a pictus. All of the fish were big enough and strong enough to protect themselves, but the lobster shredded every fin in the tank in about four days. The lobster was only about 3 inches long at the time. Beautiful creatures, but I personally would never keep one with any fish again. Good luck with whatever you decide
